The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group 4 exam is a TSPSC job recruitment exam for the positions of Junior Assistant, Junior Typist and Junior Stenographers in various departments of the Government of Telangana such as the Forest department, Revenue department, Commercial tax department, etc. According to the TSPSC notification, the Government is aiming to fill about 9168 vacant group 4 posts through the TSPSC group 4 exam 2022.  

Eligibility

Candidates of Indian nationality between the age limit of 18 years (minimum) to 44 years (maximum) holding a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to appear for the exam.

Exam Pattern

The overall exam is conducted in two stages – Objective and Subjective (proficiency test) Under the objective stage, the complete syllabus for the exam has been divided into two papers – Paper-I consisting of topics from general knowledge and Paper-II comprising of topics on secretarial abilities.  Each paper will consist of 150 questions with 150 minutes to complete the exam thus totaling both the papers to 300 questions in 300 minutes (5 hours). The candidate will be awarded one mark for each right answer and will lose 0.25 marks for every wrong answer (negative marking).

The candidates who have cleared stage-1 can move ahead onto stage-2. Under the subjective stage, the test is conducted for a total of 50 marks which is divided into 4 parts – typing a letter or a paragraph with a word limit of 200 words for 20 marks (in MS Word), creating a table of graph for 15 marks (in MS Excel), preparing a presentation for 10 marks (in MS PowerPoint) and writing an email for 5 marks.

The above exam pattern consists of the previous year's pattern. The TSPSC notification 2022 has yet to have announced any new changes to the existing syllabus and pattern.

TSPSC DEPARTMENTAL TEST:

The TSPSC departmental tests are conducted for the promotion of employees working in the various departments of the Government of Telangana. These departmental tests are conducted twice a year – once in May and one in November. The examinations are held at the district headquarters where the candidates get admitted to the district centre where they are currently employed at.

The TSPSC departmental tests are conducted in two modes – objective and descriptive. The objective exams will be for 2 hours while the subjective exams will be for 3 hours. Candidates will be able to download their TSPSC departmental test hall tickets about 7 days before the commencement of the examinations.

The TSPSC departmental test notifications for the November examination has been released on the official website of TSPSC. The syllabus to be taken care of for TSPSC departmental tests is the Andhra Pradesh Financial Code, Treasury code, budget manual, Constitution of India, Indian government accounts and audit and the Andhra Pradesh pension code.

TSPSC JOBS:

The TSPSC jobs currently available are for posts such as Registrar, Supervisor, Statistical officer, Clerk, Food safety officer, Engineer, Revenue officer, Bill collector, and Stenographer. Each TNPSC job has a specific set of qualifications which have all been mentioned on their websites.

The most common qualifications for any TSPSC job are SSLC, Higher Secondary, ITI, BE/BTech, CA, Diploma, ICWA, Ph.D., graduate degree, or postgraduate degree. Candidates holding either of the above degrees can find a job easily in the TSPSC.
