The official website of the Telangana State Public Service Commission recently released the notification for the TSPSC Group 1 Services 2024. According to the notification that was published on February 19, 2024, the application process for the exam will commence from February 23, 2024 and will continue till March 14, 2024. The application process, thus, has already started.

TSPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

TSPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 – Fees
The application fees and exam fees for the TSPCS Group 1 Exam 2024 is given below as per the official notification:
- Application Fees: Applicants must pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee.
- Examination Fees: Applicants must pay Rs. 120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) as Examination Fee.
- Exemptions: Only unemployed candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Mode of Fees Payment: Applicants have to pay the application and examination fees online through payment gateway following prescribed instructions.

TSPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 – Selection Process
Candidates for TSPSC Group 1 Services are selected based on their performance in two consecutive stages – the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. Important information about each of the stages is provided below:
Prelims:
- The Preliminary Test will have Objective Type questions comprising General Studies and Mental Ability.
- Performance in this test will be used to shortlist candidates who are eligible to sit for the Main Exam.
- The Preliminary Test will be conducted in English, Telugu & Urdu.
Mains:
- Only candidates who pass the Prelims cut-off will be eligible to sit for the Main Exam.
- The number of candidates who qualify to sit for the Written (Main) Examination (Conventional Type) would be 50 times to the total number of vacancies available in each Multi-Zone.
- The Main Examination will be conducted in English, Telugu & Urdu.
- Candidates will have the choice to answer papers in the Main Exam in their preferred language (English, Telugu, or Urdu), except for the General English paper which has to be answered in English only.
- The Paper on General English is a qualifying one. Marks obtained in this paper will not be counted for ranking.
- Other papers included in the Main Exam include: General Essay, History, Culture, and Geography, Indian Society, Constitution, and Governance, Economy and Development, Science and Technology, Data Interpretation, and Telangana Movement and State Formation.
