TSPSC Group IV Exam Important Topics and Preparation Tips
TSPSC Group IV Examination is conducted every year for hiring typists and stenographers for different government departments and ministries. The examination is conducted in two phases. The first is a written test (Stage-I) and the second is an interview (Stage II).
In the written test (Stage-I), there are two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Each paper will carry 150 marks. On qualifying both the papers the candidate will have to appear for a proficiency test for 50 marks. This proficiency test is again divided into four parts- A, B, C, D.
The proficiency test falls under the Stage-I, it is conducted to check the practical and language skills of the appearing candidate.
In Part A, typing ability is checked in MS Word, where the candidate is required to write a 150-200 words paragraph in MS Word. Total marks allocated here is 20.
In Part B, candidates are asked to create tables or graphs in the MS Excel. Total marks 15.
In Part C, create some slides in MS PowerPoint. Total marks 10
In Part D, the candidate is required to type and send an email. Total marks 5.
With the increasing competition and number of candidates appearing for the examination it has become a challenge for the students to crack it but not yet impossible to achieve it. All you need to be is a little focused and thorough with the topics that is in the syllabus.

PREPARATION TIPS TO ACE THE EXAMINATION
MAKE A SOLID STUDY PLAN :
If you see, the TSPSC GROUPIV exam is not that tough to crack but its broad for which you should be punctual with time to cover all the topics. Hence, to cover all the topic the first step is waking up early in the morning. Do you know studying early at 4 pm increases your retention capacity? Make your time routine early from the morning and schedule the subjects as per day and month and strictly adhere to it. Only making a routine will not help you. You have to religiously follow this routine to make it happen.
ANALYZE THE SYLLABUS PROPERLY :
Analyzing the syllabus properly makes your job half done. If you are thorough with the syllabus then even while reading the newspaper or studying the books you will know which topic to pick and read. If you are thorough with your syllabus it will reduce the time that you are devoting to topics that are not that important and can utilize it in topics that are important.

If you can choose the best study material it can help you to ace the examination smoothly. Reading from books that do not cover the topics of exams or books that do not clear the concepts of the topic can lead you to fall really hard on the ground.
