What is AMCAT?
AMCAT i.e. Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test is a test that is based on AI. This test basically evaluates the individual’s critical aspects such as logical reasoning and communication skills. It is a perfect test to identify whether the candidate is well suited to the particular job or not. AMCAT is now playing as a host for several companies.
Eligibility for AMCAT
Any student who has completed his graduation or post-graduation is eligible for the test. Even students in their last year of college can also apply for this exam.
Syllabus for AMCAT
AMCAT has basically four sections from which three of which include English, Logical reasoning, and quant. The fourth section depends on the domain the person has chosen. It would be different for different students i.e. the fourth section is different for art students from the engineering students.
Companies hiring through AMCAT
Over 700 companies have recognized AMCAT. Companies such as Reliance Jio and Deloitte are some of them. Also, AMCAT is spreading really fast and is being recognized fast.
Marking scheme
- The very first section i.e. quantitative section is of 16 marks and the student must complete it within 18 minutes.
- The next section i.e. English is of 18 marks and must be completed within 16 minutes.
- The next section which is logical reasoning is of 14 marks and the student must complete it within 16 minutes.
- The marks of the last section which is based on the domain you have chosen are also based on the same and may vary for each domain.
