In the state of Rajasthan, Rajasthan Police is the primary and governmental law enforcement bureau. The headquarters of Rajasthan Police resides in the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The recruitment process in the force is done by Rajasthan Police Service Commission (RPSC).

It prepares a statewide examination called Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS). If you pass your exam, then you are trained under RPA jaipur and RTPC. The nine organisational units are Crime branch, State Special Branch, Training, Forensic Science laboratory, Planning and Welfare, Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC),  Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS), Telecommunications and Traffic Police.

Rajasthan Police Exam Syllabus

Rajasthan Police Constable Age limit

The minimum age for applying for the exam is 18 years while the maximum age is 24 years for constable and 26 years for Constable driver.
Nationality - For making yourself eligible you need to be-
a citizen of India (or)
a citizen of Nepal (or)
a citizen of Bhutan
There is no maximum number of Attempts specified by the authorities. It just needs to be under the age limit. There are no official years of experience required for this post. The candidates just need to be eligible and under the prescribed age limit.

Rajasthan Police Constable Key Points

There are some points that have to be kept in mind by the candidates. These pointers are necessary and have been prescribed by the Rajasthan Police Recruitment body itself.

  • Those candidates who have been married more than once and the spouses from the marriages are alive are not fit for posting.
  • For candidates who are married, it is necessary that the marriage is certified as proof will be required during selection.
  • All those who were indulged in lending or receiving dowry are not eligible for the post.
  • Debarred candidates from any kind of examination are not eligible.
  • There should be absolutely no criminal charges on the candidate applying for the post.

Rajasthan Police SI Eligibility

As the new notification is not out, the following eligibility criteria are as per the last recruitment drive so that candidates can have some idea about the criteria. You are required to be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan. You must know the Devanagari script as well as the Sanskrit language. You Must have a graduation degree certificate. The minimum age for SI is 18 years and the maximum age for SI (UR) is 26 years. Candidates should possess a graduation degree from a recognized board or university.
